AerGlo Debuts at FastSigns Outside Sales Summit in Frisco Texas
SignSmith CEO Joe Montgomery showed off AerGlo at the recent FastSigns Outside Sales Summit on August 22-24, 2014 in Frisco. FASTSIGNS International hosts the Outside Sales Summit annually. The two and a half day event features key speakers, vendor showcase and educational sessions designed to build the knowledge, skill and performance of Sales Representatives and Franchise Partners.Key vendors are invited to exhibit and this is where new products are often shown prior to the January Sales Show. It appears AerGlo was well received and the company is planning to exhibit at the January show when the product is ready for shipping. Currently AerGlo is in the final prototype phase with pre-production later this fall and first shipments in December 2014.
This patent pending product is an entirely new category of sign: self-powered by sun and wind. AerGlo attaches like a typical magnetic door sign, but that’s where all similarity ends. Aerglo lights up day and night. And it features Apple’s new iBeacon technology which allows it to send messages to nearby mobile devices.
“If you’re close enough to see an AerGlo sign you can save the message to your phone with a single click,” says Montgomery. “This really changes the game for mobile signage.”
